
The Federal Reserve's latest annual survey of U.S. households, which included 11,400 households, reveals a significant decline in cryptocurrency use and ownership in 2023. Only 7% of respondents reported owning or using cryptocurrency, down from 8% the previous year. This equates to approximately 18 million American adults out of 258 million. Notably, only 1% of respondents used crypto to buy something. The survey, conducted in October 2023, underscores a broader trend of decreasing crypto adoption in the U.S.
