
Kraken, a major cryptocurrency exchange, has launched its own crypto wallet, dubbed Kraken Wallet, to compete with established providers like Coinbase and MetaMask. The wallet supports multiple blockchains including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Optimism, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, and Dogecoin. It offers features such as managing multiple wallets, multi-chain support, managing NFTs and DeFi positions, IP privacy, encryption, and no client-side tracking. Kraken Wallet also integrates with Web3Wallet, allowing connectivity to over 6,000 apps. Additionally, Kraken has acquired TradeStation's crypto division, expanding its U.S. regulatory licensing and its presence in the crypto wallet space.
