MakerDAO, a leading entity in the decentralized finance (DeFi) sector, has announced its ambitious 'Endgame' plan, aiming to significantly expand its ecosystem. The initiative, dubbed 'Launch Season,' is set to introduce a suite of major enhancements designed to foster scalable resilience and sustainable user growth, with an ultimate goal of achieving a 100 billion Dai supply. The roadmap includes the introduction of new yield farming and user experience (UX) features, alongside the launch of two new tokens, NewStable and NewGovToken, while retaining or upgrading the existing DAI and MKR tokens. MakerDAO's founder, Rune Christensen, has revealed that the first phase of the Endgame Launch will commence in the summer of 2024. Prior to the launch, MakerDAO is already on a trajectory towards a $500M run-rate annual revenue, based on a $4.5B DAI supply, showcasing the significant potential for growth as the DeFi market continues to evolve.
