
Japanese banking giant Nomura holdings and its digital asset arm, Laser Digital, have partnered with GMO Internet Group to explore stablecoin issuance in Japan. The collaboration aims to issue stablecoins denominated in Japanese yen (JPY) and U.S. dollars (USD). Additionally, they plan to develop a 'Stablecoin-as-a-Service' platform to assist other entities in issuing stablecoins.
