Robinhood has officially launched its cryptocurrency wallet for Android users on Google Play, marking a significant expansion in its digital asset services. The wallet, now available globally, supports a range of functionalities including the sending, receiving, and storage of cryptocurrencies. Initially rolled out in beta, the wallet has opened a public waitlist for sign-ups. It supports multiple blockchain networks such as Ethereum, Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, and Base. This launch follows the earlier release of the Robinhood Wallet app for iOS users and a beta version for Android in March 2023. The move is aimed at broadening global adoption of digital assets and making transactions easier for millions of Android users worldwide.
