Teleport, a new rideshare service, has launched on the Solana blockchain as a competitor to Uber. Developed by the Decentralized Engineering Corporation, Teleport aims to offer a more profitable experience for drivers and a more affordable option for users. The service charges a 15% commission compared to Uber's 44%, and incorporates on-chain rewards to incentivize early adopters. The rideshare protocol, known as Trip, allows other vendors to reuse the infrastructure.
