
Hong Kong-based asset manager VSFG, in collaboration with Value Partners, has applied to Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission for a spot bitcoin ETF. The application aims to launch the ETF as early as May. The total assets managed by Value Partners and VSFG amount to $5.9 billion. VSFG's head of investment and products, Brian Chan, mentioned active discussions for the ETF launch. The ETF is expected to change the global ETF paradigm by altering the supply-demand dynamics compared to US competitors.
