Two notable blockchain projects, Boundless and Lombard Finance, are preparing for upcoming community token sales and initial decentralized offerings (IDOs) in late August 2025. Boundless, a zero-knowledge (ZK) infrastructure protocol aimed at enabling any blockchain to outsource recomputation to a decentralized network of prover nodes, will launch its community token sale on August 25 via the Kaito Capital Launchpad. The project has an initial token supply of 1 billion ZK Coins, with 6% allocated for community sales and airdrops. The token sale will unlock 50% of tokens at the Token Generation Event (TGE) and the remaining 50% after six months. Boundless’s fully diluted valuation (FDV) is approximately $290 million, targeting over $4 million in fundraising, with minimum and maximum allocations ranging from $100 to $100,000. Community members with various Kaito membership tiers will be eligible for token rewards and priority allocations. Additionally, Boundless is offering a $100,000 Yapper reward. Lombard Finance, a Bitcoin-backed decentralized finance (DeFi) lending protocol, is launching its $BARD token sale on Buidlpad starting August 26, with a hard cap of $6.75 million and a fully diluted valuation of $450 million. The token sale features a 100% unlock at TGE, with individual contributions ranging from $50 to $5,000, payable in USD, BNB, or LBTC. Lombard’s $LBTC token represents the largest Bitcoin liquid staking token, with a Bitcoin reserve of 13,455 BTC and a total value locked (TVL) of $1.64 billion, accounting for 40% of the market share. Approximately 72.5% of LBTC is actively engaged in DeFi protocols. Lombard aims to address the lack of yield opportunities and composability in Bitcoin’s on-chain financial ecosystem, competing with Ethereum-based infrastructures such as Lido and EigenLayer. Both projects emphasize decentralization and community participation in their token sales.
