Chainlink has officially launched its Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) Software Development Kit (SDK), aimed at enhancing cross-chain development. The CCIP SDK allows developers to integrate cross-chain functionalities with minimal coding, utilizing familiar developer tools and Chainlink’s robust security measures. Notably, CCIP has maintained 100% uptime since its mainnet launch, a feat attributed to its defense-in-depth approach inspired by engineering principles from the aviation and nuclear energy sectors. This year, several projects, including Gains Network, Index Coop, and Linear Finance, have adopted Chainlink CCIP as their standard for cross-chain interoperability. Additionally, Chainlink has facilitated over 15 billion verified data points and enabled transactions worth more than $17 trillion across various decentralized applications on multiple blockchains, demonstrating its pivotal role in the evolving landscape of decentralized finance.
