Optimism Distributes 10M OP Tokens in Retro Funding 4 for Superchain and Mode Network
Optimism has announced the results of its Retro Funding 4, distributing 10 million OP tokens to over 200 projects based on their onchain impact on the Superchain and OP Mainnet. Among the recipients, Layer3 was awarded 500,000 OP tokens, while Mode Network builders received a share of 3 million OP tokens, approximately $5.5 million. Notable projects such as Ionic Money, Kim Protocol, Ironclad Finance, Sturdy Finance, SupswapXyz, and SwapModeFi were recognized for their contributions. Additionally, Lifiprotocol was the third top recipient, receiving around $1 million. This funding is part of Optimism's broader initiative, which includes 800 million OP tokens allocated for Retro Funding and 500 million OP tokens for future airdrops.
