Orange Finance, a liquidity management protocol on the Arbitrum network, has reported a hack resulting in losses exceeding $840,000. The incident, which occurred on January 8, 2025, involved an unauthorized entity compromising the protocol's security. Reports indicate that the hack was facilitated by a failure in the multi-signature security system, which turned out to be a single signature. The compromised funds included approximately $843,500, with various assets involved. In light of this event, community members have been warned to remain vigilant against increased scammer activity, particularly ahead of the upcoming Builder Rewards launch and MOR staking. Additionally, there have been multiple reports of other accounts being hacked, urging users to avoid engaging with compromised accounts.
