
An investigation by ProPublica and Documented has revealed that 25 employers with histories of wage theft have received contracts worth more than $500 million from New York City and state agencies since 2018. Among these, one nonprofit has secured contracts exceeding $110 million despite committing millions of dollars in wage theft.
