A federal appeals court has ruled against the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF)'s regulation on pistol braces, marking a significant victory for gun rights advocates. On Aug. 9, the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals found the ATF's final rule on pistol stabilizing braces to be "arbitrary and capricious." This decision follows a similar ruling by the 5th Circuit about a year ago. The National Rifle Association (NRA) supported the challenge brought by the Firearms Regulatory Accountability Coalition (FRAC) and SB Tactical, emphasizing the protection of Second Amendment rights.
