API and EIA Data Show Significant Changes in Crude Oil, Gasoline, Distillates, and Cushing Stock Inventories

The American Petroleum Institute (API) and Energy Information Administration (EIA) released data on crude oil, gasoline, distillate, and Cushing stock changes. API reported actual crude oil stock change at -6.49 million barrels, gasoline at -452,000 barrels, distillates at +2.045 million barrels, and Cushing at -1.706 million barrels. EIA's actual crude oil inventories were -4.156 million barrels, Cushing at -1.766 million barrels, gasoline inventories at 2.022 million barrels, and distillate inventories at 2.544 million barrels.
