
Amazon Web Services (AWS) has reached an annual revenue run rate of $100 billion, with Q1 operating income of $9.4 billion on revenue of $25 billion, marking a 17% growth from a year ago. CEO Andy Jassy remains optimistic about AWS's future despite most global IT spend remaining on premises. The growth is attributed to strong demand in generative and non-generative AI workloads.
