The Department of Justice (DOJ) has announced an agreement with Rite Aid to settle allegations of violating the False Claims Act (FCA) and the Controlled Substances Act (CSA) in relation to opioid dispensing. The settlement amount is $408 million. These settlements were all reached in July 2024.
