Empower Oversight is pressing the SEC's Inspector General to complete and issue an ethics report on conflicts of interest involving former SEC officials William Hinman and Jay Clayton. The watchdog group has been advocating for transparency on crypto regulations and has submitted a new referral concerning Clayton. Since December 2021, they have been calling for the release of documents related to the XRP case.
