Usage of the Federal Reserve’s overnight reverse repurchase facility dropped to $28.818 billion on 14 August, with 14 counterparties participating, New York Fed data show. The take-up is the smallest since 2021 and marks a sharp contraction from the pandemic-era peak of about $2.2 trillion.
