Recent analysis by Risk Quantum has revealed that over a tenth of all U.S. commercial banks meet the commercial real estate (CRE) concentration thresholds that could lead to heightened supervisory scrutiny by regulators. This situation is contributing to the Federal Reserve's expectation of more bank failures, as hundreds of small and regional banks across the U.S. are currently under stress.
