Gen Zers are participating in the stock market at higher rates compared to previous generations, with 40% of under-25-year-olds involved in 2022 compared to only 16% in 1995. Despite this increased participation, younger generations report financial struggles, with only 11% of Gen-Z men and 7% of Gen-Z women feeling financially secure. In contrast, older generations, such as Boomers, are more likely to feel financially secure and are expected to sell significant amounts of stock in the coming years.
