
HP Inc. reported strong Q2 2024 earnings, beating both top and bottom line estimates. The company posted an adjusted EPS of $0.82, exceeding the $0.81 estimate, and revenue of $12.8 billion, surpassing the $12.6 billion forecast. HP noted an uptick in corporate PC sales and expects a significant boost from the upcoming Microsoft Windows refresh cycle. Looking ahead, HP projects Q3 adjusted EPS between $0.78 and $0.92, and FY adjusted EPS in the range of $3.30 to $3.60. CEO Enrique Lores highlighted the growing impact of AI PCs, expecting them to account for 10% of PC shipments in the second half of the fiscal year and 40-60% within three years. HP shares rose 4.0% pre-market following the earnings report.
