
Microsoft, led by Vice Chair and President Brad Smith, has announced a significant investment of €4 billion ($4.3 billion) in France, focusing on cloud and AI infrastructure. This investment, part of the annual 'Choose France' summit attended by President Emmanuel Macron, is Microsoft's largest in the country since it began operations there over 40 years ago. The initiative includes the establishment of a data center in Mulhouse and a comprehensive skills training program for one million people. The investment aims to support France's growing AI economy. Additionally, Amazon Web Services has also committed to investing $1.3 billion in its French operations, aiming to create over 3,000 permanent jobs.
