OpenAI Appoints Sarah Friar as CFO and Adds Paul M. Nakasone to Board

OpenAI has made significant additions to its leadership team, reflecting its ongoing growth and focus on security. The company has appointed Sarah Friar as Chief Financial Officer on June 12, a move described by CTO Mira Murati as indicative of the 'next phase' for the AI company. Additionally, on June 13, OpenAI added retired U.S. Army General Paul M. Nakasone to its Board of Directors. Nakasone, who is also a former NSA chief, brings extensive cybersecurity expertise to the board and will join the Safety and Security Committee.
