
Timothy Andrew Nemeckay, a businessman from Park City, has been sentenced to federal prison for wire fraud. From early 2013 to 2020, Nemeckay deceived investors by claiming that Mine Shaft Brewing was raising funds to develop a brewery and restaurant in Park City. Instead, he used the investor funds for personal gain, including paying for strippers and vacations. Nemeckay also concealed the fact that he was barred from selling securities. He has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.
