Primo Water Corp and BlueTriton Brands have entered into a merger agreement to create a major player in the North American packaged water industry. The merger, which is structured as an all-stock deal, will result in a combined entity with $6.5 billion in annual revenue. BlueTriton, the parent company of Poland Spring acquired from Nestle, and Primo Water, a publicly traded company, aim to leverage their extensive portfolios and distribution networks in the home and office delivery market. The merger is expected to create a significant presence in the 'healthy hydration' sector. However, Halper Sadeh LLC is investigating whether the merger is fair to Primo Water's shareholders.
