Salesforce shareholders have rejected the company's compensation plan for CEO Marc Benioff and other top executives. The decision came after shareholder advisory groups raised concerns about the equity awards granted to Benioff. About 404.8 million votes opposed the plan, while 339.3 million were in favor. Benioff's FY24 compensation was $39.6 million, including $30.3 million in stock/options and $3.1 million in other forms of compensation. The plan also included an additional $20 million to Benioff's total pay. An SEC filing revealed the vote, and Salesforce shares were down 0.9% pre-market.
