Tesla, the electric vehicle manufacturer, has announced significant workforce reductions across multiple states. The company is laying off over 3,300 employees in California and more than 2,600 in Texas. Additionally, Tesla plans to cut 693 jobs in Nevada. These layoffs follow a reported 9 percent drop in revenue and are part of a broader 10% reduction in Tesla's workforce. The layoffs are attributed to increased competition from other electric vehicle makers and declining sales. Tesla's CEO, Elon Musk, confirmed these cuts earlier this month, noting that the Burbank facility alone would lose 64 employees.
