The lawsuit accuses the electric carmaker of multiple wage law violations against factory and warehouse workers in California, including not paying overtime or paid sick leave, making workers perform off-the-clock work, and imposing high quotas that could prevent employees from taking necessary breaks. The plaintiffs are seeking more than $5 million in damages on behalf of thousands of Tesla workers across the state. This legal action comes amid other allegations against Tesla, including workplace bias and union busting.
