Despite this, Trump Media reported a substantial loss of $58 million last year against a mere $4 million in revenue. However, Trump's stake in the venture has dramatically increased in value, while company executives have reportedly earned millions in salaries and stock options. The stock's decline, now more than 50% below its peak, has erased approximately $2.8 billion in market value and impacted Trump's net worth, removing him from the Bloomberg Billionaires Index as his stake dropped to around $3 billion and his net worth tumbled by US$2 billion. Despite claims from Truth Social's CEO of being debt-free with $200 million in the bank, the stock's performance continues to falter, with ongoing sell-offs indicating a lack of confidence among investors and short-sellers having previously lost $100 million betting against it.
