US factory orders unexpectedly fell by 0.5% in May (MoM), missing the expected increase of 0.2%. This decline follows a revised 0.7% increase in April. Excluding transportation, factory orders also dropped by 0.7%, compared to a revised 0.4% increase in the previous month.
