Busch Gardens Tampa Bay on 15 July opened “Wild Oasis,” a rainforest-themed realm aimed at younger visitors. Built within the park’s Jungala section, the expansion combines animal encounters, hands-on play areas and new rides in what the operator calls its most immersive family attraction to date. Highlights include “Treetop Drop,” a 35-foot drop tower with multimedia jungle scenes; “Canopy Climb,” a four-level structure offering more than 200 feet of horizontal and vertical trails; and “Enchanted Falls,” an interactive splash pad. The “Habitat Hideaway” exhibit introduces capybaras, giant anteaters, squirrel monkeys and tropical birds, while a Latin American-inspired quick-service restaurant, TOMA at Orang Café, rounds out the offerings. “We are thrilled to officially open Wild Oasis to all our guests,” Park President Brian Bacica said, adding that the area was designed to “entertain, educate and inspire.” To boost attendance, the park is giving visitors who buy one Fun Card a second card free, allowing unlimited visits to Busch Gardens and Adventure Island for the rest of 2025.
