Project Europe is an initiative aimed at fostering entrepreneurship among young founders in Europe, with a particular focus on those aged 25 and under. The project has committed €10 million to support early-stage startups, offering investments of €200,000 for selected founders. Backed by over 140 prominent tech leaders, Project Europe seeks to encourage innovation and ambition within the region's tech landscape. However, it has faced criticism regarding gender representation, as only 5 out of its 150 limited partners are women, amounting to just 3%. The initiative is positioned as a response to the need for Europe to enhance its tech capabilities, particularly in comparison to the United States. The project aims to leverage the potential of Generation Z to drive growth and innovation across the continent.
