A malware named 'DroidBot' has been targeting customers of several French banks, aiming to steal personal information. Reports indicate that the malware is designed to extract sensitive data from users, raising concerns about cybersecurity in the French banking sector. Additionally, a separate cyberattack has been reported in Mauritania, where the Bashe hacking group claims to have breached Bankily, a financial service provider. The group reportedly exfiltrated 1 GB of data, including administrator usernames, customer names, phone numbers, account balances, and source data code. The hackers have set a ransom deadline for December 13, 2024.
