Microplastiques dans les eaux Contrex et Hépar: Nestlé Waters nie toute contamination https://t.co/ieJS6pdCGd
A report revealed by Mediapart has found extremely high levels of microplastics in the bottled waters Contrex and Hépar, produced by Nestlé Waters in France. The concentrations measured were 515 microplastic particles per liter in Contrex and 2,096 particles per liter in Hépar, amounts that exceed typical environmental levels by factors ranging from 51,000 to 1.3 million. The pollution has been linked to illegal waste dumping in the Vosges region. Despite these findings, Nestlé Waters maintains that all its waters are safe for consumption and denies any contamination. The issue raises concerns under EU regulations, which require natural mineral water to remain unaltered, a standard that these findings suggest may not be met.
