WeeFin, a Paris-based sustainable fintech startup, has successfully raised €25 million in a Series B financing round led by BlackFin Capital Partners. The round also saw participation from existing investors IRIS, Asterion Ventures, and Ring Capital, bringing WeeFin's total funding to over €34 million. Founded in 2021 by Grégoire Hug, Marion Aubert, and Guillaume Klech, WeeFin provides a SaaS platform that helps financial institutions manage their sustainability strategies, including ESG, impact, and climate risk. The platform centralizes the necessary data for these strategies, serving more than 40 clients across Europe, including Generali Asset Management and Groupe BPCE, with total customer Assets under Management (AuM) worth €6900 billion. WeeFin plans to use the new funds to enhance its product offerings and expand further into the European market, with new clients already secured in Luxembourg and Italy, and the opening of a UK office. The company has experienced significant growth, with 30% of its revenue now coming from international sales, up from zero two years ago, and a fivefold increase in annual recurring revenues over the same period. WeeFin has doubled its headcount in the last two years and plans to welcome more than 100 new employees over the next three years.
