Two-time major champion Collin Morikawa has enlisted veteran caddie Billy Foster for the upcoming Genesis Scottish Open at the Renaissance Club and the following week’s Open Championship, according to tournament and tour communications on Monday. Foster, best known for his long partnership with 2022 U.S. Open winner Matt Fitzpatrick and previous stints with stars such as Seve Ballesteros and Lee Westwood, will replace Morikawa’s regular bag-man for at least the next two events. The move gives the 27-year-old American a caddie with more than four decades of major-championship experience as he seeks his first victory of the 2025 season. This week’s Scottish Open, a co-sanctioned DP World Tour and PGA Tour event, is part of the Rolex Series and serves as the final tune-up before the Open Championship. Morikawa won the Open at Royal St. George’s in 2021; Foster has yet to claim a major title as a caddie despite multiple close calls.
