California Man Sentenced for Drug Trafficking, Las Vegas Man Gets 30 Years, Ilya Lichtenstein Gets 5 Years for Bitcoin Laundering

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for D.C. announced that a California man was sentenced to 13 years and 8 months in prison for his involvement in a widespread drug trafficking conspiracy across the United States, including the DMV area. Additionally, a Las Vegas man received a 30-year sentence for operating a massive dark web drug trafficking operation. In a separate case, Ilya Lichtenstein was sentenced to 5 years in prison for laundering roughly $1 billion in bitcoin from Bitfinex funds.
