Scammers often pose as attractive, successful individuals, building trust over time before requesting money. The FBI has been actively combating these scams through Operation Level Up, which has saved over 4,300 potential victims from losing an estimated $285 million to crypto-related frauds. The initiative focuses on identifying and warning individuals before they fall victim to these schemes.
