Anurag Basu's romantic drama Metro In Dino, released in early July 2025, has garnered positive reviews and a steady box office performance. The film earned Rs 3.04 crore on its opening day and saw a rise to Rs 6.33 crore on the second day, followed by a cumulative Rs 15.75 crore by day three. By its tenth day, Metro In Dino had collected Rs 32.10 crore nett, surpassing Basu's earlier film Life in a Metro during its first weekend. The movie, featuring actors Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur, explores urban relationships across Indian cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Kolkata. Despite competition from Hollywood releases such as F1, Jurassic Park, and Superman, the film maintained a steady climb in box office collections. Metro In Dino is also slated for an upcoming OTT release on Netflix.
