Bengaluru has been recognized as one of the top 12 global technology powerhouse cities in CBRE’s Global Tech Talent Guidebook 2025, joining established hubs such as San Francisco, London, Beijing, and Tokyo. The city’s technology workforce has surpassed the one-million mark, underscoring its status as a major IT hub. Bengaluru’s artificial intelligence (AI) workforce, in particular, rivals those of San Francisco and New York in scale. In related developments, Bengaluru-based manufacturing AI startup Frinks AI has raised $5.4 million in funding. The company, which develops Vision AI tools for visual inspection in sectors including automotive and medical devices, plans to use the funds to expand its presence in the United States and enhance its research and development efforts. The startup has also appointed former Tata Consultancy Services CEO Ramadorai as an advisor.
