Brigade Group, in collaboration with Nikhil Kamath's investment platform Gruhas, has launched India's first Earth Fund, a dedicated initiative with a total investment of Rs 300 crore (approximately $35 million). The fund aims to support startups focused on property technology (proptech) and sustainability-driven solutions within the real estate sector. This initiative comes in response to the low investment in technology by developers in India, where less than 1% of revenue is allocated to such advancements, according to Nirupa Shankar, Joint Managing Director of Brigade Enterprises.
