The International Cricket Council marked 50 days until the start of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 by unveiling the tournament trophy in Mumbai. Current India captain Harmanpreet Kaur and teammates Smriti Mandhana and Jemimah Rodrigues joined former internationals Mithali Raj and Yuvraj Singh at the ceremony, signalling a broad show of support for the host nation. The 12-team one-day tournament is scheduled to begin in India on 30 September, returning the women’s global championship to the country for the first time since 2013. Speaking at the event, Kaur said the squad is determined to use home conditions to secure a maiden World Cup title, while Yuvraj, a member of India’s 2011 men’s World Cup-winning side, urged the players to "enjoy the moment" and embrace crowd expectations.
