The Haj Committee of India, operating under the Ministry of Minority Affairs, has officially opened the application process for Haj 2026. Registration commenced on July 7, 2025, and is scheduled to continue until July 31, 2025. Prospective pilgrims are required to apply online via the official Haj portal or the Haj Suvidha mobile application available on iOS and Android platforms. Applicants must possess a valid Indian passport with validity extending at least until December 31, 2026. The Chairperson of the Delhi Haj Committee, Kausar Jahan, emphasized the importance of carefully reading the registration instructions and guidelines. The registration process aligns with directives from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Meanwhile, in Pakistan, approximately 250,000 pilgrims have registered for Haj 2026.
