This policy aims to support startups in sectors such as AI, IoT, space tech, and machine learning. Deepinder Goyal, founder of Zomato, predicted that Blinkit will surpass Zomato in size within a year. The event also highlighted India's remarkable 46% surge in real-time transactions, contributing to the vision of a $5 trillion economy. Sanjay Nayar of ASSOCHAM emphasized the importance of not being overly dependent on foreign money. Rajan Anandan of Peak XV’s mentioned that Indian startups are expected to raise $10-12 billion this year. Union Minister Piyush Goyal shared PM Modi's desire to showcase India's capabilities to the world, underlining the government's commitment to fostering a conducive environment for startups.
