Indian astronaut Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla successfully completed an 18-day mission aboard the International Space Station (ISS) as part of the Axiom 4 mission. During his time in space, Shukla completed 322 orbits and traveled approximately 13.9 million kilometers. Following his return to Earth, Shukla reunited with his wife Kamna Shukla and their six-year-old son Kiash Shukla. Initial medical examinations confirmed that he is in good health with no immediate health concerns. Shukla’s father, Shambhu Dayal Shukla, stated that he spoke with his son after his return and that Shubhanshu is expected to visit India in August. The mission marks a notable milestone for India’s human spaceflight program and has been acknowledged by ISRO.
