Infosys has raised its FY25 revenue guidance to 3.75-4.5% after surpassing second-quarter revenue estimates, signaling a revival in demand from key verticals. This marks the second upward revision for the annual revenue forecast, previously set at 3-4%. The Indian IT sector, which has lagged behind most others this year, could see a boost from Infosys' positive outlook. Additionally, India's leading IT firms, including TCS, Infosys, HCLTech, and Wipro, added 8,400 employees in Q2FY25, ending four quarters of decline. Tech Mahindra led the hiring spree with 6,653 new employees in Q2FY25 and reported a 153% year-over-year profit surge, declaring a dividend. Discretionary BFSI spending has returned, contributing to the sector's recovery.
