More than 300 companies reported their Q4 FY25 earnings on May 27-28, 2025, including major Indian firms such as Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), Info Edge (India), Bharat Dynamics, Hindustan Copper, Bosch, NMDC, Minda Corp, and IRCTC. LIC posted a 38% year-on-year jump in net profit to Rs 19,013 crore despite a 3.7% decline in total income, surpassing street estimates. The insurer declared its highest-ever dividend of Rs 12 per share and saw its solvency ratio improve to 2.11. Info Edge reported an 83% quarter-on-quarter increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 463 crore, with revenue up 14% to Rs 750 crore, and announced its first-ever dividend post stock split. Bharat Dynamics faced a 5.5% decline in net profit to Rs 273 crore and a steep 79% drop in revenue to Rs 1,777 crore, with EBITDA margin shrinking to 16.8%, leading to a 6% drop in its shares despite declaring a final dividend. Bosch’s net profit fell 2% to Rs 554 crore, revenue declined 16%, but EBITDA rose 16%, with a final dividend of Rs 512 per share recommended. NMDC's revenue grew 8%, while Minda Corp reported a 26.6% drop in net profit to Rs 52 crore but an 8.7% rise in revenue. IRCTC posted a 26% year-on-year net profit increase to Rs 358 crore and a 10% revenue rise, announcing its first dividend since achieving Navratna status. Other notable results included Natco Pharma’s 5% profit increase to Rs 406 crore, Deepak Nitrite’s 20.3% profit decline to Rs 202 crore but a 5% rise in EBITDA, and Granules India’s 17.3% profit growth to Rs 152 crore. Several companies declared dividends, including a Rs 512 dividend by an auto components firm and Rs 74 dividends by three companies. Overall, the earnings season showed mixed performances across sectors with some companies reporting strong profit growth and others facing revenue and margin pressures.
