Ola Electric reported a widening net loss of Rs 564 crore for the third quarter of FY25, marking a 50% increase from the previous year. This decline is attributed to rising competition and service issues, alongside a 19% year-on-year drop in operating revenue, which fell to Rs 1,045 crore. In contrast, LIC, India's largest insurer, announced a 17% growth in net profit to Rs 11,056 crore for the same quarter, supported by a reduction in employee-related expenses. LIC's net premium income, however, decreased by 9%. Meanwhile, FirstCry's parent company, Brainbees, saw its loss narrow by 70% to Rs 15 crore, with consolidated operating revenue increasing by 14.3% to Rs 2,172.3 crore compared to Rs 1,900.1 crore in the previous year.
