Reliance Industries has become the first Indian company to surpass a total equity of Rs 10 lakh crore, entering the global top 25 companies by net worth with a valuation of $118 billion. It ranks 21st worldwide, ahead of several global energy giants, alongside companies such as Microsoft, Alphabet, and Saudi Aramco. Meanwhile, the BSE-listed firms' market capitalization declined by Rs 8.89 lakh crore to Rs 4.22 crore lakh crore (USD 4.93 trillion) over two days. In recent market movements, the top 10 firms on the Indian stock market gained Rs 1.18 lakh crore, with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) showing the largest increase in market valuation by Rs 53,692.42 crore to Rs 12,47,281.40 crore. Reliance Industries added Rs 34,507.55 crore, raising its valuation to Rs 17,59,276.14 crore. Infosys' market capitalization rose by Rs 24,919.58 crore to Rs 6,14,766.06 crore, HDFC Bank's by Rs 2,907.85 crore to Rs 14,61,842.17 crore, and State Bank of India’s by Rs 1,472.57 crore to Rs 7,12,854.03 crore. ITC's valuation increased by Rs 1,126.27 crore to Rs 5,35,792.04 crore. Conversely, Bharti Airtel's market value dropped by Rs 41,967.5 crore to Rs 10,35,274.24 crore, and Hindustan Unilever's by Rs 10,114.99 crore to Rs 5,47,830.70 crore. Among individual stock performances, SBI Life led gains with a 5.15% increase, followed by Tech Mahindra (+1.02%), TCS (+0.95%), Infosys (+0.58%), and UltraTech Cement (+0.25%). Companies such as Adani Ports, Axis Bank, Zomato, Bajaj Finserv, Power Grid, Maruti, Bajaj Finance, Tata Motors, Tata Steel, and NTPC experienced declines in their share prices.
