The Supreme Court of India has postponed its decision on a petition filed by former Karnataka Chief Minister and BJP leader B.S. Yediyurappa. The petition seeks to quash a corruption case related to a 2011 land denotification. A bench comprising Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Mishra referred the matter to the Chief Justice of India for it to be linked with a similar pending case. Subsequently, the Supreme Court has decided to refer Yediyurappa's appeal to a larger bench for further consideration.
